This lesson was a great reinforcement for converting units of measurement. I had taught the students how to convert units of measurement using multiplication and division. Using the Unit 2 Unit Converter, students can convert easily with little thought.

However, using the converter presented a new problem. The answer is presented as a decimal. This actually turned out great because I was able to review interpretation of decimals while reviewing unit conversion.

As usual, the students were eager to participate because of the use of the Palms. I believe they are beginning to see that the Palm is a useful tool and not only a toy.
